The boss of one the biggest firms that supplies builders says the Bank of England must cut the cost of borrowing and by half a percentage point. We also look at the package unveiled by the government yesterday which aims to rescue the faltering banking system that could end up seeing taxpayers stump up 500 billion pounds.
